Knight Transportation, Inc. is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers to become training mentors for new CDL-A drivers. You will mentor trainees, share miles, and earn compensation for both your miles and your student’s miles during training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license.
• 6 months of Class A experience within the last year or 1 year of Class A experience within the last 5 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, no major accident within 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug tests.
• Additional Trainer Qualifications: Minimum of 30 days with Knight
• Must have at least 60,000 Miles solo & 1 winter season driving OTR.

Responsibilities

• Mentor new CDL-A drivers during training.
• Share miles with students and trainees during training.
• Support development of drivers as part of the trainer program.
