American Driver in the Southeast region is seeking CDL-A Trainee drivers for a structured student program. You'll start with a fixed weekly pay during a 4–6 week finishing course and receive on-the-road mentorship while building practical highway experience.

Expect regional dry van work across FL, GA, AL, SC, NC, and TN with 34–48 hours home time every two weeks, no-touch loads, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k with company match and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Class A commercial driver's license.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Graduation from an approved 120-hour commercial driving academy.
• Ability to pass mandatory DOT physicals and pre-employment urine and hair follicle screening.
• Clean background with no SAP enrollment or DUI/DWI offenses within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional dry van freight with drop-and-hook and no-touch loads.
• Maintain 34 to 48 hours of home time every 14 days.
