Job summary

R+L Carriers seeks Class A Team Truck Drivers at our Tacoma, WA Service Center. Drive van trailers up to 53’ or doubles between our service centers and turn points. Teams are on the road 5 days and home 2 days every week, with weekly home time.

Earn $140,000–$160,000 yearly. Requirements include CDL A, a safe driving record, DOT drug screening, and successful road test. Benefits and resort lodging are available after qualifying periods.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience in last 3 years.
• Good driving record (MVR/PSP) with no serious violations and max 3 moving violations in 3 years.
• Age 23, or 21 to meet FMCSA military transition rule.
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Pass a road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate van 53' or double trailers between service centers and turn-points.
• Team drivers work 5 days on the road, 2 days home weekly.

CDL A Team Truck Drivers – $140,000 - $160,000 yearly (each driver)

Our Team Drivers are home every week!

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Team Drivers at our Tacoma WA Service Center.

As a Team Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations.

All our teams are on the road for 5 days and home for 2 days every week.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
