CDL A Truck Driver - OTR

Immediate Openings for CDL-A OTR Truck Drivers

AD is a family-owned enterprise based in Canton, Michigan, managing a fleet of approximately 500 trucks. Our company is distinguished for its exceptional equipment quality, impressive mileage records, and family feel across the company. With more than a quarter of our drivers having driven over a million miles with us, and an average tenure surpassing five years, each driver holds significant value to us.

While our terminal is centered in Michigan, we operate nationwide and welcome applications from candidates across various locations. Our primary operational regions lie to the east of the Mississippi River and within the Midwest. (Please note that we do not offer mandatory dispatch services to the islands and boroughs of New York.)

Why Drive for AD?

• $0.60 CPM (cents per mile)
• $80.00/day per diem
• Average $1,400-1,800/week
• 2,500-2,800 miles/week

Bonuses & Benefits

• Michigan's daily per diem rate is $80.00.
• In quarter four of 2024, this is what our fleet averaged:
• Top 5% averaged 3,880 miles
• Top 10% averaged 3,404 miles
• Top 25% averaged 2,925 miles
• Top 50% averaged 2,640 miles
• 20% of our fleet is made up of drivers who have surpassed one million miles with our company, and 7% have surpassed 2 million.

Get paid for clean DOT inspections!

• Clean inspection for general commodity = $50.00 bonus
• Clean inspection for Hazmat freight = $100.00 bonus

Have a Hazmat endorsement?

• Hazmat placarded loads = $100.00 bonus for each load
• Please note that a Hazmat endorsement is not a prerequisite for employment.

Referral Bonus

• Get a $2,000.00 bonus for referring a qualified over-the-road driver!
• 45 days of employment = $250.00
• 90 days of employment = $750.00
• 150 days of employment = $1,000

• Orientation details: One day, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, available Monday through Friday, with travel and lodging covered for those outside commuting distance. Orientation pay is $150 upon first dispatch.
• Trucks: Kenworth T-680s (2024 and newer) and Freightliner Cascadia (2024 and newer) with features like efficient idle optimization, inverters, household outlets, GPS, microwave cubby, double bunks, TV mounts, LED headlights, and more.
• Driver testimonials highlighting the company's supportive environment and equipment quality.

Requirements

• One year of 53' trailer experience
• Pass risk management review
• No open Clearinghouse violations
• Willing to drive at night (about 50%)
• Willing to operate in the northeast region (excluding forced dispatch into NYC boroughs and islands)
• Criminal background reviewed on a case-by-case basis
