Job summary

CR England is hiring for experienced truck drivers to operate a day cab from the McCook, IL ramp. Most work stays within a 65-mile radius with occasional longer regional runs into OH, MI, KY, IA and WI. Drivers have home daily with two consecutive days off, typically 10–12 hours per day, five days a week, with an optional sixth day.

You need a valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months of recent experience. We offer PTO, 401(k), and comprehensive insurance options.

• Execute live load and drop-and-hook freight across multiple dispatches per shift.
• Maintain home daily schedule with 2 consecutive days off; typically 10–12 hours/day, 5 days/week.

The rail ramp at 5200 Joliet Road in McCook, IL is where every dispatch on this intermodal fleet starts and ends. Most of your work stays within a 65-mile radius of the ramp, with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight across multiple dispatches per shift.

You drive a day cab, and tractors leave and return to the yard daily. Some dispatches run longer, up to 500-600 miles round trip, including regional runs into OH, MI, KY, IA and WI.
