Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking full-time CDL A Truck Driver and Loading Dock Specialist fora long-term government contract located mainly in Cheverly, MD and sometimes in Arlington, VA. Main driving duties will include the handling of secure mail and property and cover Alexandria, VA, Washington County, MD, and the National Capitol Region.
· Clean driving record
· Receiving, inspecting, delivering,and loading and unloading trucks
· Understands warehousingprocesses and systems
· Understands inventorymanagement systems
· Experience withfurniture moving
· Ability to use acomputer
· Ability to workindependently
· Highly dependable andpunctual
· Furniture moves andrelocations
· Operating the WarehouseManagement System
· Class A CDL and current medical card required.
· Must be capable of passing a background check and drug test.
· Experiencewith Government contracts is preferred.
· Musthave knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
· Must beable to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
· Must becapable of standing, bending, and walking for the majority of a workday.
· Abilityto lift and carrying moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs).
