R+L Carriers is seeking CDL-A Linehaul Drivers at our Elgin, IL Service Center. You will move van trailers up to 53’ or doubles between service centers and turn-points, returning home daily. A PTO policy exists after 90 days, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Applicants should have CDL-A, a clean MVR/PSP, and pass DOT physicals and road tests. Minimum age 23 (21 for FMCSA transition). Training and safety are emphasized in a family-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A is required.
• 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean MVR/PSP with limited violations.
• Age 23 (21 if FMCSA transition).
• Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a road test.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop.

Responsabilités

• Pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers or turn-point locations, returning home daily.
• Operate Linehaul routes safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate trailer movements and deliveries.

Job Description

CDL- A Truck Driver Linehaul, $.78 CPM

PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Linehaul Drivers at our Elgin, IL Service Center. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations, and returning home daily.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• M ust be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doublesAny LTL freight experience
