Carter Lumber in Georgia is seeking a Fleet CDL Driver to deliver materials to locations across the state. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and driving with a no-touch freight model.

This full-time position offers a salary-based pay structure with opportunities for bonuses and room for growth within the company. You will also coordinate loading/unloading with a forklift and provide courteous customer service at sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading/delivery sites.
• Secure the load and tarp product when required (occasional).
• No touch freight; material loaded/unloaded with a forklift.
