Job summary

Drivers may reach up to $95k in year one and $104k+ with experience. DOT/FMCSA safety standards apply; HazMat endorsements may be required for some routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and good driving record or ability to obtain one.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements to be obtained if needed.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Ability to communicate in English per FMCSA rules.
• Commitment to safety and professionalism.
• Two paths: CDL school 140+ hours or six months CDL-A experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport product from Dot Foods suppliers to customers and DCs.
• Read load paperwork and manage routes, schedules, and deliveries.
• Monitor fuel use, idle time, and speed for efficiency.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety policies.
• Represent DTI with professionalism on the road and at sites.
