Class A CDL Drivers for FedEx Contractor **SIGN-ON BONUS**

Compensation: $26.00 per hour + benefits

Location: Columbus, OH (Grove City)

Bear Pack Logistics, LLC is hiring full-time, motivated Class A CDL drivers, based out of Columbus, OH, with a clean driving record for FedEx. We are a local small business with the benefits of a large company. We deliver FedEx freight between FedEx facilities with accuracy and professionalism, and are making on-the-spot job offers contingent on meeting eligibility and background check requirements.

What you’ll do:

· Haul 53’ truck locally in Columbus, OH, and move loads assigned from the wheel spot out of Grove City, OH

· Shifts are 10-12 hours/day (Scheduled Monday thru Saturday)

· Play a key role in keeping FedEx’s commitment toexceed customer expectationsand deliver packages on time and at the right place

·Consistent Schedules: Deliver on daily, local or regional routes that have you home after each shift. All available shifts are DAY SHIFTS starting between 6-10am.

·Home Daily: You will be home after every shift, enabling you to spend more time with family and friends. Deliveries are both spot work and wheel work, switching between touch and no-touch freight.

·Compelling Benefits: We offer W2 employment with paid time off, health, dental, vision and life insurance, and 401(k) for full time employees.

·Wage Increases:Wage increases every 6 months, up to 3 year anniversary.

·$1,000.00 Sign-On Bonus:$300 paid at 90 days, $700 paid at 6 months of employment.

What you’ll need:

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL), withDOUBLESendorsement

· Must have *minimum* 1 year CDL A driving experience

· Must successfully pass DOT Physical

· Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records

· No current CDL suspension or revocation

· Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC Report

· Successfully pass a background check

· Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

· Must be able to use handheld technology and smartphone applications such as GPS

· Flexibility to work day schedule with weekend availability

·Offers are contingent on meeting eligibility and background check requirements*

You will not be employed by FedEx, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partners with FedEx.
