Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Rice, MN is hiring CDL-A drivers for early morning dispatch five days a week. Expect night layovers with company-paid hotels and a $7,500 sign-on bonus; compensation includes daily base pay plus incentive components and a typical annual earnings around $90,000.

You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food products safely while maintaining DOT compliance and accurate paperwork, and representing the company to

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• 6+ months commercial driving.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspects vehicle.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on local and interstate routes to deliver and unload food products.
• Verifies delivery details with customers and collects payments where required.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs and related paperwork.
