Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers to join our team. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food products to customers safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL-A and 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Age 21+ with clean MVR and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and DOT-compliant safety checks.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers per schedule.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Securely lock trailers and report safety issues promptly.
• Maintain daily logs of hours of service as required.
