Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate a vehicle for picking up, transporting, and delivering donated goods in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT certification, clean MVR, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Starting pay is $27.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a Total Rewards package. You will perform daily vehicle checks, provide courteous customer service to donors, and help ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CDL vehicle.
• Ability to use technology.
• Ability to be trained and take direction.
• English proficiency (speak, read, write).
• Must have and maintain a valid Class A Arizona CDL, DOT Certification, clean MVR with no DUIs and no reckless operation, and a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

• Acts courteously, handles customer concerns, and resolves and/or escalates when necessary.
• Follows all established policies, procedures and local, county, state and federal laws.

• Prepares and submits required paperwork and reviews reporting.
• May work overtime to complete tasks.
• Unloads vehicles and moves items as required.
• Adheres to safety rules and uses appropriate safety equipment.
