Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Dulles, VA. The CDL A Truck Driver will safely operate company vehicles to transport household goods and commercial items locally and long distance, following all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and protecting loads, assisting with loading and unloading, and accurately completing logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation. The driver will interact with customers at pickup and delivery locations, provide professional and courteous service, and coordinate with dispatch and moving crews to ensure on-time, efficient moves. The role may involve occasional overtime, weekend work, and overnight trips as required by customer needs and route assignments.
Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience in household goods or freight transportation, including safe loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections, identify maintenance issues, and report or address them promptly.
• Strong customer service skills, including professional communication, problem-solving, and respectful interaction with customers and team members.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move furniture and equipment, and to work in varied weather conditions as part of a moving crew.
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to follow schedules, work flexible hours, and adapt to changing route and job requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience with moving, relocation, or logistics operations is a plus.
• Willingness to comply with background checks, drug screening, and company safety policies and procedures.
