McIntosh Box and Pallet Company, Inc. in Bernhards Bay, NY is hiring a CDL A Driver for the 1st shift (6am–2:30pm, Mon–Fri; some hours may vary). Pay is $28 per hour based on experience.

You will deliver products safely and professionally, building long-term relationships with customers. Requirements include a valid CDL A license, 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver’s license required.
• 2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• A background check and drug test are required.
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer.
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• An innate sense of direction.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle.
• Drive trucks with a GVW over 26,000 lbs.
• Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs.
• Ensure trailer hitch is properly and securely attached to the tractor unit.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.
• Make safety a priority at all times.

McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring a 1st Shift CDL A Driver in Bernhards Bay, NY!

We are seeking a dependable and organized CDL A Truck Driver to join our team and ensure safe, timely, and accurate deliveries. This position offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with customers while representing a well-established company.

Pay is $28 per hour based on experience.

Shift: 6am to 2:30pm Monday to Fridays some hours may vary based on business needs

As a CDL A Truck Driver you will help ensure our product is delivered in a safe and timely manner. You will have the opportunity to build long standing relationships with our customers during deliveries.

A CDL Driver's Responsibilities:

• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle
• Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
• Pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000 lbs.
