Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver in the United States to safely drive trucks, unload products, and ensure on-time delivery to customers. You will verify orders, collect signatures, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining vehicle safety and pre/post-trip inspections.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A, at least 21 years old, and six months of commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold CDL Class A license and meet DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Manual transmission experience is preferred.
• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required by DOT.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer with appropriate equipment and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures from customers.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and uphold customer service standards.
