Job summary

HD Hauling & Grading is seeking a full-time CDL A Truck Driver based in Concord, NC. You will safely operate company trucks to haul dirt, gravel, and construction supplies to and from job sites, while maintaining logs and following DOT safety guidelines.

You will coordinate with dispatch, follow routes, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained. Strong safety culture and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
• Proven experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in construction, grading, or material hauling environments.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and basic vehicle inspection procedures.
• Ability to read and follow delivery tickets, job site directions, and basic maps or GPS instructions.
• Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to climb in and out of trucks, secure loads, and assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, crew members, and customers.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety procedures, and job site rules at all times.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior local route or construction hauling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
