Qualifications

• Requires valid PA CDL Class A license.
• Must meet all DOT physical and medical requirements and pass a substance abuse screening.
• As a safety-sensitive employee, drivers are subject to random substance abuse testing.
• Ability to effectively interact with customers and co-workers.
• Requires high attention and dexterity to operate vehicle and equipment safely.
• Ability to sit in the cab for long periods.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor trailer in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy, following daily route sheets and work orders.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the tractor and tanker.
• Transports and offloads leachate at regulated wastewater treatment plants.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to complete loads and follow special instructions.
• Obtain load weight tickets and maintain related records such as driver’s logs and route sheets.
• Daily truck cleaning to meet company standards, including the cab.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as outlined in vehicle condition reports.
• Report maintenance issues immediately to supervisor/manager.
• Report accidents or violations promptly to the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned in the job description.
