Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver for commercial vehicle towing, recovery, and roadside service in Indiana. This performance-based role pays based on workload, not hourly.

Primary duties include heavy-duty towing, rapid response to breakdowns and accidents, safe operation of wreckers, and thorough documentation. On-call nights and weekends required; weather doesn't deter you.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and on-call.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be reliable and responsive when called.

This is a performance-based position. The more work you complete, the more you earn. This is not an hourly “sit and wait” job.

We are looking for drivers who want to stay busy, take calls, and make money.

If you prefer a slow pace or guaranteed hourly income regardless of output, this is not the right fit.

What This Job Looks Like

• On-call schedule with nights and weekends
• High call volume with consistent work available
• Fast response expectations
• Real recovery work, not just basic tows
• Independent work with dispatch support

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy-duty towing, recovery, and roadside service
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, accidents, and emergency calls

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Valid CDL-A license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and on-call

• Must be reliable and responsive when called

Preferred (Will Increase Your Earnings)

• Heavy-duty towing or recovery experience
• Mechanical or diesel background
• Experience with winching, load shifts, or accident recovery

Pay & Opportunity

• $80K–$150K+ earning potential (commission-based)
