Job summary

Kett Engineering Corporation seeks a capable driver to conduct on-road and test-vehicle assessments in San Antonio, TX. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and a valid CDL A with a DOT card, plus minimum 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.

You will document findings clearly and assist with related vehicle prep and safety checks. Travel will be periodic, including over-the-road testing and vehicle transfers.

Qualifications

• CDL A and DOT Card required.
• At least 3 years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Passenger Endorsement required or willing to obtain.
• Clean driving history for past 3 years; no at-fault accidents, DUIs or DWIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor/trailer and evaluate vehicles for testing purposes.
• Conduct pre/post trip safety inspections.
• Prepare Drivers Reports daily with accurate, concise documentation.
• Travel periodically for over the road testing and vehicle transfers.
• Mentor other drivers when assigned.
• Follow Kett Engineering and customer policies and procedures.
