Job summary

Kett Engineering Corporation is seeking a part-time driver to conduct test driving per customer specifications and provide documented feedback. You will test drive and evaluate tractors and trailers, prepare daily driver reports, and perform safety inspections while representing the company professionally.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, CDL A and DOT Card, and at least 3 years of tractor-trailer experience, with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Skills/Experience: CDL A and DOT Card with at least 3 years tractor trailer experience.
• Clean driving history for past 3 years; no at-fault accidents, DUIs, or DWIs.
• Must have Manual Transmission experience and be tech savvy; able to communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Test driving per customer specifications and provide documented feedback.
• Drive and evaluate tractors, trailers, and other vehicles for testing purposes.
• Prepare Drivers Reports daily with accurate documentation.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip safety inspections as required.
• Travel periodically to perform over-the-road testing and vehicle transfers.
• Assist with clerical tasks and other duties as assigned by supervision.
