Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring Class A Team Truck Drivers at the Milwaukee, WI Service Center. Teams pull van or double trailers between service centers. Home weekly, with 5 days on the road and 2 days at home. Earn $140,000–$160,000 per driver yearly, plus an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 year combined Class A driving in the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if military FMCSA transition.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to complete a road test.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers or turn-point locations.
• Team drivers work 5 days on the road and 2 days home weekly.

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for Class A Team Drivers at our Milwaukee, WI Service Center. As a Team Driver, you will be tasked with pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between our service centers and/or turn-point locations. All our teams are on the road for 5 days and home for 2 days every week.

Requirements

• CDL Class A
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if successfully met the FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL
• Must be able to operate equipment safely at all times
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen
• Must be able to complete a successful road test
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Must be dependable

Preferred

• Drivers with Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and Haz-mat CDL endorsements
• Experienced hauling Haz-mat
• Experienced pulling doubles
• Any LTL freight experience
