Job summary

R+L Carriers, Inc. is hiring Class A Team Drivers at our Portland, OR Service Center. Teams pull van up to 53’ or doubles between service centers and turn-points. Expect 5 days on the road and 2 days home each week with excellent benefits and PTO after 90 days.

Compensation ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 per year per driver, with a strong benefits package including medical/dental/vision and 401(k) matching. Join a family-owned transportation company focused on safety and service.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• 1 yr. combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record / MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years.
• Age 23, 21 if FMCSA specs to transition from military to civilian CDL.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to complete a successful road test.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn-point locations.
• Team Drivers operate on a 5 days on/2 days off schedule and are home weekly.
• Maintain safe operation and comply with DOT regulations.
