Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. in Emporia, KS seeks a Truck Receiver to move tankers at the Fresh Chicken Dock, receive documents, and keep the receiving area clean. You’ll coordinate with the Fresh Chicken Receiver to unload and return tankers to the staging area and take tanker temperatures per SOP.

Required: CDL Class A with 1 year driving, basic math/reading/writing, good English communication, and adherence to safety and PPE rules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills required.
• Strong English communication abilities and teamwork.
• Willingness to comply with safety and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Move tankers in and out of the Fresh Chicken Dock.
• Receive incoming documents and maintain the cleanliness of the receiving area.
• Unloading tanker with the Fresh Chicken Receiver and return tanker to staging area.
• Take temperatures of incoming tankers per SOP.
• Participate in team development and follow company policies.
