Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a Truck Operator/Tipper Truck Receiver in Emporia, KS. The role involves moving tankers in and out of the Fresh Chicken Dock, receiving documents, and maintaining a clean receiving area.

You will work with the Fresh Chicken Receiver to unload tankers and return them to the staging area while following SOPs. Responsibilities include taking tanker temperatures, adhering to safety PPE, and participating in team meetings and initiatives to improve procedures and cohesion.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CDL Class A license with 1 year of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math proficiency and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move tankers in and out of the Fresh Chicken Dock.
• Receive incoming documents and verify details.
• Maintain cleanliness of the receiving area.
• Unload tanker in coordination with Fresh Chicken Receiver.
• Return tanker to staging area after unload.
• Take temperatures of incoming tanker per SOP.
• Participate in team activities and follow company policies.
