Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle division is hiring a CDL A driver for local aggregate deliveries in Cincinnati, OH. The role emphasizes safe handling of materials, precise loading, and timely deliveries, with daily coordination from dispatch.

Applicants must have a CDL A license, clean MVR, and at least 2 years of CDL experience. High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass DOT physical.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with clean MVR.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up raw aggregate materials.
• Safely dump raw materials using end dump trailer.
• Transport block, mortar and other building materials to customers as needed.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading of the truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Receive from dispatcher invoices, directions to job sites, and follow them to the letter.
• Maintain records such as daily truck log, fuel tickets, delivery docs per regs.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any concerns.
• Provide and document routine maintenance of the truck and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
