Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a reliable driver to transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes to stores, jobsites, and distribution yards. Home daily with competitive pay and benefits.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure all paperwork complies with state and federal regulations. CDL A and two years' experience are required, along with a safe driving record and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL A license required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL experience.
• Valid Medical Card and DOT physical required.
• Must have a safe driving record and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes to customers.
• Make deliveries safely and on time.
• Assist and supervise loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Unloading may involve boom cranes and truck-mounted forklifts.
• Maintain daily truck logs and delivery paperwork per regulations.
• Maintain good customer relations and report equipment issues promptly.
• Inspect vehicle and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Survey job sites and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
