Job summary

Holmes Lumber in Emporia, VA is looking for a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist who can be home daily while driving well maintained equipment. You will transport materials to our locations across the state, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and friendly customer service at loading sites.

This full-time role requires a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and familiarity with DOT regulations. You will secure loads, occasionally tarp products, and assist with forklift loading/unloading where

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Able to pass DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations safely and timely.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarp products.
• Operate forklift to load/unload when required.
• Adhere to the schedule and DOT regulations.
