Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver with a valid CDL-A to safely deliver full trailers to domiciles and return empties to the distribution center.

The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, with home time aligned to a responsible schedule across our nationwide distribution network. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, securing cargo, DOT-compliant logging, and potential line haul duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level

Responsibilities

• Inspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report
• Ensure product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport
• Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations
• May perform line haul and/or backhaul
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products
• Other duties as assigned
