Job summary

Carter Lumber in Tennessee is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to our locations across Tennessee and surrounding states in a safe, timely manner. This full-time driving role includes salary-based pay with bonuses and opportunities for growth within a family-owned company.

You will provide friendly, professional service at loading and delivery sites, secure loads, and occasionally tarp products. No touch freight; forklift is used for loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in Tennessee and surrounding states safely and timely.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarps the product.
• No touch freight; material loaded/unloaded with a forklift.
• Full-time driving position with salary-based pay and bonus opportunities.
