Universal Logistics Holdings is hiring Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers for Detroit, MI. This union position offers daily home time with 1st shift from 5 am to 2:30 pm, light touch freight, and 2–3 runs per day between the terminal and customer locations.

Expect 8–9 hour days and OT after 40 hours, with seniority-based route bidding every six months. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, minimum age 21, and a clean safety history with DOT compliance.

Local CDL-A Shuttle Drivers Needed - Home Daily!

Universal Dedicated of Detroit is seeking reliable CDL-A drivers for local shuttle routes based in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to join a union position with steady freight, consistent schedules, and daily home time.

Terminal Location:

14250 Plymouth Rd
Detroit, MI

Pay:

• $22.50/hour experienced drivers
• $21.00/hour for 0-1 year experience
• After 1 year jumps to $24.25/hour

Position Details:

• Local shuttle routes (home daily)
• 1st shift opening 5 am - 2:30 pm
• Light touch freight (not loading and unloading but will involve chaining or strapping up loads that drivers are held accountable for)
• 2-3 runs per day between terminal and customer locations
• Consistent 8-9 hour workdays
• OT after 40 hours (5-10 hours usually for 5 day work week. more if a 6th day is offered)
• Stable, year-round work
• Union position (Teamsters Local 299)
• Seniority-based route bidding every 6 months
