Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate a tractor-trailer on local and regional routes from Greer, SC. You will perform pre-trip inspections, comply with DOT regulations, and maintain logs while meeting delivery schedules.

Earn hourly pay with overtime, enjoy home daily, benefits after 90 days, PTO and paid holidays; Monday–Friday with potential weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Class A CDL with at least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean driving record with no DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight to and from customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Secure and handle freight properly (may include loading/unloading depending on the employer).
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Adhere to schedules while maintaining safe driving habits.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL 6 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience
• Clean driving record with proven safe-driving history
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Strong time management & communication skills
