Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support delivery operations along a Jefferson City, MO to Springfield, MO route. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and return with full trailers, driving safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.

Home daily, 3rd shift, Sundays through Thursdays. The role requires a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 6+ months of commercial driving, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 90 pounds.

Qualifications

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Meet DOT health and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks and pre/post trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Deliver and return trailers on scheduled routes on time.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Complete route paperwork and hour-of-service logs as required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and secure freight properly.
• Assist with unloading and customer interaction as needed.
