Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Shuttle Driver for Chesapeake, VA. You will transport products between dispatch sites, starting at $25.00 per hour during training and averaging $36 per hour after training.

Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 5:30pm–4am or later. Benefits begin Day One, including health care, retirement savings, and paid time off. Safety-focused culture with routine inspections and backhaul opportunities.

Qualifications

• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• 6 months commercial driving experience required.
• Doubles endorsement required (preferred).
• Comfortable working overnight.
• Able to read/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving between dispatch sites with safety and efficiency.
• Backhaul or delivery duties as needed.
• Pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify freight and trailer temperatures; check details.
• Other duties assigned by management.
