Job summary

UNIS Transportation is seeking qualified Class A Drivers for local shuttle work between nearby distribution sites in Riverside, CA. Primary duties include moving goods between sites and yard goat operations on a 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, DOT/Safety record, and the ability to pass a drug/alcohol test; knowledge of DOT regulations is essential. Bi-weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years).
• Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance.
• Willing to submit a background check and provide employment recommendations.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Meet the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation and possess a valid DOT Medical card.
• No DUI’s or major driving violations.

Responsibilities

• Handle local transportation, moving goods between distribution sites located a few miles apart.
• Shuttle and yard goat operations.
• Schedule 2nd shift start 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
• Maintain safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
