Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A semi-local freight driver to haul general freight across the Midwest with assigned automatic sleeper trucks and no-slip seating. The role offers home time during the week and a 34-hour reset, with an average annual pay around $92,000 and a $5,000 hiring bonus.

Expect live loading/unloading, no-touch freight, and typical dispatch from Bensenville, IL to IL/MN/MI/OH. Start times are evening, Thursday through Monday, with home 1–2 nights weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP Drivers.
• Ability to complete live-load and live-unload operations.

Responsibilities

• Haul general freight from Bensenville, IL to customer sites in IL, MN, MI and OH.
• No-touch freight.
• Loads are live-loaded and live-unloaded, typically about 1 hour.
• May assist nearby dedicated accounts when freight volume is low.
