Job summary

Salt City Trucking seeks a CDL-A Semi-Local Freight Driver to haul general freight across the Midwest with home time during the week and a 34-hour reset.

Average pay is about $92,000 per year, with a $5,000 hiring bonus and a limited-time incentive for early dispatches.

Shifts are Thursday–Monday, start around 8:00–10:00 PM, with 1–2 home nights weekly and no-touch freight in many runs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card is required.
• Ability to perform live-load and live-unload operations.

Responsibilities

• Haul general freight across the Midwest.
• Maintain no-touch freight where applicable and operate assigned trucks safely.
• Participate in live-load/live-unload operations and assist nearby accounts as needed.
