Job summary

LinPepCo in Lincoln, NE is seeking a relief Delivery Driver to support Vacation and Illness coverage for Delivery Customer Representatives and Territory Sales Managers. You will order, deliver, stock, rotate and merchandise products.

A Class A CDL, High School diploma or equivalent, and strong safety and communication skills are required. Comprehensive benefits are offered, with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and stock-rotation abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
• Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising standards.
• Able to operate in DOT-regulated environment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Relief role for Delivery Customer Reps and Territory Sales Managers.
• Order product for delivery to customer accounts.
• Drive a truck to deliver product to customer accounts.
• Prepare and provide delivery/pickup documentation.
• Reconcile route and submit required reports.
• Stack product per customer specs.
• Collect empty pallets and shells from backrooms.
• Stock, rotate and merchandise products as needed.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations.
• Keep vehicle clean and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
