Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Route Driver to operate a semi-truck or vacuum truck for collection of animal mortalities, fat, bone, or grease from customer sites. You will inspect loads, secure containers, and complete route tickets with customer signatures.

Responsibilities include maintaining the vehicle, performing safety checks, logging DOT data, and delivering quality service while upholding regulatory and company standards. Must be able to travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• CDL A with tanker endorsements required.
• Must be registered on FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-truck or vacuum truck to collect animal mortalities, fat, bone, or grease from customer locations.
• Inspect materials at pickup for foreign or hazardous materials.
• Complete route tickets with customer signature and maintain logs.
• Keep vehicle clean and compliant with regulations.
• Communicate safely and maintain customer relations throughout routes.
