Job summary

Kent Moore Cabinets in Bryan, TX is seeking a full-time truck driver to transport cabinets and components from Stone City Plant to offices and jobsites, loading trailers at the factory and unloading at the jobsite. This role requires a valid CDL Class A, ability to drive long hours, and knowledge of trucking regulations; manual transmission experience is a plus, and you must communicate in English.

You will be home every night, staying local with safety and compliance as priorities.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license.
Experience in driving manual transmission is preferred.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Proven work experience as a truck driver.
Ability to drive long hours.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
No recent moving or driving violations.
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).

Responsibilities

Transport cabinet parts and raw materials from the manufacturing plants to offices and jobsites. You will be home every night.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance.
Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Report defects, accidents, or violations.
Driving is a key component of this position.
