Job summary

Core Transportation in Houston, TX is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. The role involves delivering building materials to customers, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off and be home every night.

The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, CDL A or B, and customer service skills. Duties include pre-trip, loading guidance, and maintaining logs while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• A clean driving record and strong customer service skills are essential.
• CDL Class A or B license in good standing is required.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely and timely, following DOT regulations.
• Pre-trip inspection, load verification, and ensuring load security.
• Direct loaders and coordinate with dispatcher for on-time deliveries to job sites.
• Maintain logbooks up to date and communicate hazards to management.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
