Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a Driver to deliver food products from Glenwillow, OH. The role includes overnight shifts once per week with early morning dispatch and a weekly shift pattern Monday through Friday. Location is 30300 Emerald Valley Pkwy, Glenwillow, OH 44139.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A; must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location
• 1+ years foodservice distribution industry experience
• Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e., PeopleNet)
• Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e., POD)
• Customer service-related work experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and company standards.
• Report safety issues and repairs; adhere to DOT regulations and safe driving guidelines.
• Inspect trailer for proper load and security; secure freight.
• Perform counts and verify customer invoices for loaded items.
• Complete required paperwork for freight clearly and accurately.
• Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
• Drive to deliver orders per route schedule and unload at customer sites.
• Obtain customer signatures and collect payments where required.
• Lock and secure tractor, trailer, and freight.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Keep tractor, dock area, and trailers clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
