Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking an hourly CDL-A Driver in Canton, OH to deliver food and related products locally and regionally. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck, perform safety checks, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries to customers.

The role offers base pay of $26/hour plus incentive pay, overtime after 40 hours, Day 1 health benefits, 4-day work week and home daily. CDL-A and DOT Health Card required, with compliance to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 1+ year commercial driving experience.
• 1+ year foodservice distribution industry experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations; reports issues.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Reports safety hazards; inspects trailer for proper load security.
• Completes necessary paperwork and verifies delivery items with customers.
• Delivers orders per route; unloads products; ensures proper placement.
• Performs damage checks and obtains signatures; handles payments as required.
• Loads returns and secures trailer; keeps equipment secured.
• Maintains daily hours-of-service logs per regulations.
• Performs general housekeeping in tractor and loading dock areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
