Job summary

Holt of California is seeking a skilled truck driver to handle diesel powered rollback trucks and transport heavy equipment in the Sacramento area. You will secure loads, log deliveries, and ensure timely handoffs to customers.

Candidates must have a Class A license with a clean DMV record, plus the ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and to operate heavy equipment in compliance with DOT regulations. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of equipment experience or training.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license with clean DMV record.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as per guidelines.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and comply with DOT regulations.
• Ability to secure loads with chains and straps.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload heavy equipment and secure with chains and straps.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery logs daily.
• Report equipment issues to dispatcher.
• Deliver equipment within established time frames.
• Fuel trucks as needed.
