Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking qualified Class A Roll-Off Drivers in Downey, CA. The role focuses on safe transport of materials using roll-off trucks, with emphasis on DOT compliance and environmental safety.

Requires a valid CDL-A, 2+ years experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work a schedule Monday to Friday 3:00–15:00 with alternating Saturdays, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and logbook rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A roll-off trucks to transport containers between locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Inspect and maintain assigned equipment and report safety concerns.
• Safely load, secure, and unload roll-off containers per procedures.
• Complete DOT documents, DVIRs, logbooks, and receipts accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for DOT compliance.
• Follow routes and schedules; adapt to operational changes.
• Maintain clean, professional appearance of equipment.
• Comply with environmental regulations for recyclable materials.
