Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a CDL Class A Driver II to haul hazardous and non-hazardous waste, supporting operations during peak times. You will handle a variety of fleet equipment, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Experience with roll-off, vacuum, and tanker equipment is preferred, with a focus on compliance, safety, and reliability. Company benefits support physical and financial wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under CFR 49 Part 391.15.
• Valid CDL with at least three (3) years of verifiable driving experience.
• Good driving history and ability to pass a background check.
• Physically and mentally qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle and pass a DOT physical (49 CFR Part 391).
• Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement required.
• HazMat Endorsement preferred; willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Willing to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and complete reports.
• Operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction).
• Meet requirements and perform all essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive as a utility driver, slip seating between straight roll-off, tractor-trailer and possibly vacuum or oil trucks.
• Load, unload, and safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials; operate all fleet equipment.
• Operate equipment including vacuum tankers, bulk tankers, roll-off, walking floor, and forklifts.
• Maintain safe, responsible operation and appearance of equipment to company standards.
• Create with clients a wow! experience at the point of delivery.
• Comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, violations or damage before and after pickups.
• Make minor repairs (bulbs, fuses, small leaks) and identify equipment malfunctions.
