Job summary

Barnhart-Crane is seeking a Driver/Rigger to support daily crane operations, rigging, and transport of equipment across job sites. You will be involved in crane assembly/breakdown and load control during lifts, working with AC units, transformers, and industrial gear.

Ideal candidates have a CDL Class A, experience in rigging/heavy equipment, and flexibility to travel to multiple sites. This permanent, full-time role offers competitive pay, benefits after an initial period, and long-term growth

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Experience in rigging or heavy equipment environments is required.
• Experience with over-dimensional or heavy haul transport is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Strong safety-first mindset is essential.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support daily crane operations, including setup, rigging, and job site execution
• Haul counterweights and equipment between yard and job sites
• Assist with crane assembly and breakdown
• Perform rigging, signaling, and load control during lifts
• Work on projects involving AC units, transformers, and industrial equipment
• Operate in a mix of truck driving and on-site rigging work
