Job summary

Albany Trucking is seeking CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Virginia and West Virginia lane with about 2,000 miles weekly and four loads. You’ll enjoy consistent weekly home time and a full 34‑hour reset, operating 2021 or newer Sleeper trucks on overnight routes.

Pay ranges from $1,450 to $1,650 per week with a $2,500 sign‑on bonus. Training for powered pallet jacks is provided; remote work is not expected. Medical and retirement benefits follow after a probation period.

Responsibilities

Freight: Dedicated no-touch freight

Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset

Location: Roanoke, VA 24011

• Dedicated Virginia and West Virginia deliveries
• Approximately 2,000 miles across 4 loads per week
• Weekly home time with a full 34-hour reset
• 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth sleepers

Dedicated customer freight and predictable route planning give CDL-A truck drivers established Virginia and West Virginia lanes with a consistent weekly workload and scheduled home time.

Albany Trucking is hiring CDL-A truck drivers for this dedicated account with pay of $1,450 to $1,650 per week plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Freight

Drivers run approximately four dedicated loads per week covering about 2,000 miles. Each load averages 490 miles throughout Virginia and West Virginia.

• Mix of drop-and-hook and live unload freight
• Powered pallet jack used for live unloads
• No heavy lifting required

Schedule

This account operates seven days a week with primarily overnight runs. Nights, weekends, and holidays are part of the regular schedule, including mandatory holiday weeks.

Drivers return home weekly for a full 34-hour reset. Those within 30 miles of the distribution center may be able to take daily 10-hour breaks at home.

Route

Dedicated deliveries run throughout Virginia and West Virginia, with backhauls typically routing through Indianapolis.

Equipment

Drivers are assigned 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth sleeper trucks equipped with 1,200–1,500-watt inverters.
