Job summary

Family Dollar account is hiring a dedicated solo driver for a national OK fleet. Drivers unload freight with rollers and typically complete 2–6 stops per load, averaging about 1,600 miles weekly. 75% of freight is in TX with 25% in surrounding states such as KS, AR, LA, and MS; home time is weekly with a 34-hour rest.

Trucks are sleeper models with automatics pulling 53' dry trailers. Compensation includes mileage pay and load pay, with comprehensive benefits and a bonus incentive program.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight using rollers.
• Drive sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions pulling 53' dry trailers.
• Deliver 75% in TX and 25% in surrounding states (KS, AR, LA, MS).
• Maintain steady miles with 2–6 stops per load and about 1600 miles per week.

Job Description:

• Dedicated Family Dollar Account is hiring drivers!
• This is a great account for someone who is looking to drive and to stay active!
• Drivers will unload the freight using rollers
• There are on average of 2-3 loads per week with 2-6 stops per load. Drivers average 1600 miles per week.

Delivery Locations:

• Generally, 75% of freight delivers in TX and the other 25% in surrounding states, including KS, AR, LA, and MS.

Schedule:

• Home time: Weekly for a 34 hour rest.

Compensation:

• Mileage Pay
• Load Pay

Equipment:

• Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions pulling 53' dry trailers.
