Safeload Trucking is seeking a CDL A Regional Driver to haul pet supplies in dry vans across the Northeast. This touch-freight role uses liftgate trailers and electric pallet jacks, with extra pay for manual unloads and about 2,000 miles per week at $0.70 CPM.

Home 1–2 days per week, with weekly average pay $1,700–$2,000. Schedule is Sunday–Thursday with 5 days out; unloading may be manual in some locations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A and safe driving history.
• Able to start early at midnight to 3:00 AM and work five days in a row.
• Comfortable with touch freight and some manual unloading.

CDL A Regional Driver - Pet Supplies - $0.70 CPM | $1,700 - $2,000/Week

Job Type: Driver

We’re hiring CDL A drivers to haul pet supplies in dry vans throughout the Northeast region. This is a touch-freight account with liftgate trailers and electric pallet jacks, plus extra pay for manual unloads. You’ll run about 2,000 miles per week at $0.70 CPM, with strong bonuses and the chance to be home 1–2 days each week.

Average weekly pay: $1,700 - $2,000

Mileage pay: $0.70 CPM

Average weekly miles: ~2,000

Drop & hook (DH) pay: $25

Detention pay: $25 after 1 hour

Layover pay: $125

6th day bonus: $75 (sixth-day runs are usually shorter)

Schedule & Home Time

Time out: 5 days

Schedule options

• Sunday–Thursday

Home time: 1 - 2 days home each week possible

Operation: Regional – Northeast region

Unloading

Drivers unload using an electric pallet jack and liftgate trailer

About 45% of deliveries are liftgate deliveries

Some locations require manual unloading onto a cart

$25 bonus for applicable manual-unload activity

Loads are equipped with electric pallet jacks; the Transportation Manager will review exact unloading requirements with applicants.
